Vote!

As a registered voter you may vote in one of the following ways:
  • Mail-in Ballot
  • In Person at a Voter Service Center or Voter Assistance Center

The November 7, 2017 election will be an all mail ballot election in Arapahoe and Douglas Counties. There also will be some Voter Service and Polling Centers open to help people with questions and other voter requirements, including voting in person on an accessible voting machine. Details below.

Mail-in Ballot

If your address is up to date, a mail in ballot will be mailed to your house about 22 days before the election, sometime after Monday, October 16, 2017, to allow you time to study the ballot and mark your choices. When you are ready, fill it out, follow the directions and mail it back to the address on the return envelope. You can also drop it off at one of the:

  • All mail-in ballot must be received at your County Clerk & Recorder's office or the designated Locations by 7 p.m. Election Day Tuesday, November 7, 2017. Ballots received after 7 p.m. will not be counted. Postmarks do not apply.
  • If you request and receive a Mail-in Ballot, then decide you want to vote at the polls instead, you must vote using a provisional ballot.
  • If you do not receive the ballot or if you spoil/damage it, you may request a replacement by calling the Clerk and Recorder's office:

Voting in Person

Arapahoe and Douglas Counties will operate a limited number of Voter Service and/or Voter Assistance Centers for people wishing to vote in person. At these centers you can also:
  • Register to Vote
  • Update your voter registration
  • Request a new mail-in ballot
  • Request a replacement mail-in ballot
  • Drop off your voted mail-in ballot
  • Vote on an accessible voting machine
